About our Thailand Low Budget tours and soft adventures

Please take notice that any text that is underlined is clickable to and more information.

Unlike other tour operators we will custom design a tour or soft adventure just for you. All you need to do is fill out the custom tour request form and we will get back to you quickly with a detailed itinerary with price. Or you can call us using SKYPE free on your computer.

We are getting many inquiries for low budget tours and soft adventures. They have several weeks or even months of holiday time so how long it takes to get from one place to another is not that important. They rather spend the evening with a local Thai family, in a hill tribe village or inexpensive guesthouse. An air-conditioned hotel and 5 course meals are not as important as the experience. A clean place to sleep, good friendly Thai and hill tribe people to be around and a delicious simple meal is what they require.

    The "Songtaew"
With the price of gasoline going sky high the cost of a private vehicle with driver is too high for many who contact us for their holiday. Also airfare is going up and up. For this reason we are now offering tours where you and your guide use local transportation. We use air-conditioned buses when possible but also non-air conditioned buses, “Songtaews” (covered pick up trucks with benches in the back), motorbike taxies in very rural areas, long tail boats, river taxies and trains.
Meals will be in simple Thai restaurants and noodle shops with good clean food. You will visit local markets to purchase ingredients to take to your Thai or hill tribe host family. Your guide and the family will prepare and cook the food and you can join in and help if you wish.
    Enjoying a Meal

Your bed in a Thai living room
Evenings will be in clean inexpensive guesthouses when in the cities. In rural areas you will have a comfortable mattress with clean pillow, sheet, blanket and mosquito net set up in your host family’s living room or veranda, just like the locals do.
Now this is a real Thailand Experience.
