We follow the three basic rules for real eco-tourism in Thailand:
1. The willingness and ability to maintain or improve the environment.
2. The ability and the willingness for proper control when visiting ethnic
peoples and villages in such a way that they can continue to maintain their
natural being, customs, traditions and lifestyle.
3. The ability and willingness of the tour operator to donate some profits
to the people in the villages they visit and in helping protect and improve
nature and the environment.
4. We also bring trees along to plant near the villages so the villagers can take care
of them. This lowers your carbon foot print.
Many people ask us by E-mail what makes us different
than other tour operators in Thailand. Here we will try to
show you the difference and if you still have questions
please feel free to ask us using our
Request Form.
Here are a few of the more than 50 orphaned hill
tribe children in 3 childrens homes that receive help from some of the profilts from those who
tour with us.
Basic needs such as clothes, school supplies, blankets, pillows, shoes, socks and
school uniforms are always in constant demand.
My wife Ning (white bow in her hair) gives food to the house mother at one of the childrens homes.
The house mother gives milk we donated to the children at one of the homes.
You can click video to see a video of 2 of the 3 childrens homes we support.
CHRISTMAS
This is the Orphaned Children's first Christmas. My wife Ning (left) gets the gifts ready.
This small Hill Tribe Children's Home in Mae Chem takes care of 10 children.
We delivered warm coats, stuffed animals and lots of toys. We thank you for helping us take care of others by touring with us.
What makes you tour and adventure different with us.
A crowded Elephant Camp
We specialize in Private Custom Tours
away from the areas visited by most tour operators. For
elephant riding we take our clients to a quiet elephant
camp away from the tourist crowds in a beautiful setting.
During our more adventurous excursions we ride elephants
in very remote places.

A crowded boat
Riding in a long tail boat can be a great experience or
very uncomfortable. 12 or so people sitting sideways with
their legs crossed with baggage for hours is no fun. All
our long tail boat rides are private with stops along the
way. If you have a group no more than 6 persons will be in
each boat. Your luggage will be transported by vehicle so
you have plenty of room.

Regular rafting
Many people coming to Thailand enjoy rafting. Bamboo
rafting can be slow and boring or rapid and dangerous and
also is bad for the environment as many rare species of
bamboo are being cut for tourists rafts. We use the best
rubber rafts with life jackets in remote white water
rivers.

Typical waterfall
Thailand is blessed with many waterfalls. Some are
so-so and others are spectacular. Most tour operators
visit ones that are close to the city and main roads as
large tour buses cannot reach the excellent ones. We always
visit the largest and best in Thailand where wading under
the clean water if you wish is pure pleasure.
Our waterfalls
Regular tent
Camping is enjoyed by many of our clients who enjoy
bird watching and elephant safari. We understand that a
good nights rest is important. While others use small
non-waterproof pup tents with small foam pads and sleeping
bags, we use roomy monsoon tested tents, comfortable
mattresses, pillows, sheets and blankets.
Our tents
Excellent Thai restaurants
Thai food is a delight if you know where to go for
authentic local dishes. We take our clients to the best
restaurants serving the best local Thai dishes in a
traditional setting. With others you may get a tasteless
dish made for tourists or a box lunch.

Flower festival
Festivals are a great way to experience Thai culture.
Most festivals include parades of colorful floats and
costumes.
The Flower Festival, Loy Krathong and Songkran, Thai new year or water festival,
are the best parades to watch. We make sure you get a front
row seat with comfortable lawn chairs, drinks and snacks.

Traditional Wedding
Traditional Thai ceremonies are sometimes visited by
our clients. When you tour with us you maybe fortunate to
join in a traditional Thai wedding or maybe a house
warming. After the ceremony there is usually a reception
with Thai music and dancing.Your guide will direct you on
the proper things to do during these events.
