July 6, 2007. Many of
our clients are requesting private accommodations in Chiang Mai so we found
a brand
new home in a restricted, high end, very quiet, exclusive neighborhood.
Full security, 5
minute walk to the beautiful resident only swimming pool and fitness
center. This is a brand new home, never been lived in. It has 3 bedrooms and
bathrooms. 2 bedrooms for your family has private baths. You host/guide
will stay with you in the extra bedroom and take care of cooking etc if
needed. We will also
have a maid to clean the home,
change bedding, towels, wash your clothes etc while you are on tour. We can also
provide a rental car with or without driver. The location is about 10 minutes
from the airport and 20 minutes to
the city center with a great view of Doi Suthep mountain.
We will be renting this home starting next month, August 2007 by the day week
or month.
You
can see the video of the outside
of the home at here.

Thai Luxury Resort
Rachamankha Resort and Spa
 |
| The Rachmankha is much more than just a hotel. It is an experience.
The combination of Lanna art and interior design, and the temple style architecture has created a haven of peace –
the kind that penetrates you and touches you heart. This is an ideal hotel for people in need of rest and relaxation.
There are 18 Superior rooms, 4 Deluxe rooms, and 1 two-Bedroom Suite. Each
guest room is slightly different because the furniture is antique,
and each piece is different.
There is also a 20 – meter swimming pool, which is lined with sun beds
and bougainvillea flowers. The airy Pool Bar offers snacks and drinks,
while the open-air room above provides a massage service. |
  |
The restaurant is illuminated by large Lanna lanterns, and beautifully decorated with nineteenth century paintings
that describe part of the life of Buddha on a large cloth that hangs down from the ceiling. Antique Chinese tables
and Ming Dynasty plates are placed tastefully along the sides of the restaurant. The focus of the cuisine is Thai,
but there is also a large selection of fusion dishes that combine food, sauces, and flavorings from Thailand, Vietnam,
Japan, and Europe. Next to the restaurant there is a small, shady courtyard where gusts can dine outside while listening
to traditional northern Thai music.
The Bar is situated next to the restaurant and is decorated with a very rare Chinese antique liqueur screen, and
lithographs by Henry Moore, Robert Motherwell, and other early twentieth century painters. The screen shows in gold
paint the whole process of tea production from the bush to the ships exporting the packaged tea leaves.
Above the restaurant is the Gallery, which serves to educate guests about Lanna culture, and also to provide a
meeting room. It is filled with silverware, lacqueurware, hilltribe jewellery, a sword collection, an eighteenth century
Buddha image, and also with the post, plates, etc., that were discovered when the hotel site was excavated.
The Rachamanka is located in the center of the old city of Chiang Mai. On Sunday afternoon and
evening the handicraft walking market takes place just outside the courtyard.
Thai Style Colonial Guest House.
Triyaanaros Colonial House
The architecture and decor of Tri Yaan Na Ros reflect the proud history of Chiang
Mai and one feels a sense of nostalgia at this ancient Colonial house. The intentions
of Tri Yaan Na Ros have been certified with the award for The Best Conserved
Structure Award 2004 of The Lanna Architect Association and Chiang Mai Municipality.
Tri Yaan Na Ros Colonial House continually strives to conserve the arts and sense
of Chiang Mai.
 |
The building's character combines influences of Chinese housing, the lifestyle of the native
Lanna people and continental architecture. All building materials are from our native province
of Chiang Mai so as to be in perfect keeping with our climate and also to retain a true sense
of Lanna history. The chambers of Tri Yaan Na Ros are designed in keeping with the influences of the glory
days of Chiang Mai (King Rama V reign). The influence of missionaries, Chinese life and
Lanna cultures appear in the teak wood furniture and the decorations and Burmese silks in natural heartwood
hue resemble the atmosphere of well over a century ago.
Enjoy a meal in natural surroundings with open-air dining room and verandah overlooking the swimming pool.
Feast yourself. Not only is the cuisine of the highest quality but is served in a most authentic Lanna
Colonial style encapsulated within beautiful landscaped gardens.
