2nd to 6th January - Travelling east from Bangkok to Ubon ratchathani.

A very senic and interesting drive From bangkook to Ubonratchathani.

See a field of storks, en route, then visit an Italian vineyard.

Lunch and nice wine with our new guide, Nan, who replaces Nok for this sector, Nui still with us.

We explore the vineyard grounds; see sunflowers en mass, some plants that Heather has not seen before.

A roadside stop, to buy some pears, then proceed for a rather special lunch (lobster for me).
